Public and private grants can be an effective source of funding. The process, however, can be daunting. Whether it’s for capital or pilot projects, or sustainable year-over-year operations, discovering, securing and stewarding grant sources takes time and skill. And every funder requires a unique approach.
With funded grants from $500 to $1 million, I have experience with writing successful proposals from a wide variety of sources: 21st Century Community Learning Center and Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, to Otto Bremer Trust and private family foundations. My background includes valuable experience in youth development, healthcare, mental health, and DEI, just to name a few.
